The Iberostar Paraíso Beach is a family hotel built in traditional Mexican colonial style, with arches and columns throughout.
The furniture in this All Inclusive hotel includes authentic works of art that wouldn’t look out of place in an exhibition of fine art.
On arrival at the hotel you will immediately be struck by the superb wooden carvings in the reception area.
This is the perfect spot to escape from the crowds. The hotel is so large that a small train runs every 15 minutes, transporting guests around the facilities to the restaurants, lobby, rooms and even the shopping mall and modern spa that form part of the Paraíso complex.
The Iberostar Paraíso Beach lies between Playa del Carmen and the lesser-known city of Puerto Morelos, which is some 15 minutes from Cancun International Airport.
The contrast between these two cities is immediately noticeable: Puerto Morelos is a far more relaxed, laid-back destination, popular with artists and craftsmen, fishermen and divers. In contrast, the glamorous Playa del Carmen is far more lively and vibrant, and is packed with tourists who flock to the beaches during the day and in the evening enjoy a drink at one of the many bars.
Situated halfway between these two cities, the Iberostar Paraíso Beach is the perfect holiday option to enjoy the best of both worlds.
